October Eleventh Success Secret – Zig Ziglar

You have probably heard the term positive strokes (some people use the expression warm fuzzies). It doesn’t matter what term you use, but it is important for you to do your part in spreading positive feelings wherever you go. Make it a habit to compliment co-workers, friends, and family members for well-done jobs. Look beneath the surface in apparently negative situations and find something positive to say. This will take effort and ingenuity on your part, but when you pay sincere compliments and show honest appreciation for the talents of another person, the rewards will be well worth the effort.

I’ve discovered that one of the very best ways to maintain a happy and healthy attitude each day is by helping someone else to do the same thing. The moment I give a positive stroke, I get in return the warm fuzzies. Every time I sincerely compliment someone on a job well done, I feel warm inside. So if you haven’t gotten your positive strokes today, maybe it’s because you haven’t given any out.
